About Us

We here at Eden Farm Doxies have over 60 years combined experience in animal husbandry. Our team consists of two sisters and a best friend, we all have had experience in raising and showing various other breeds of dogs, that was until we fell in love with Miniature Dachshunds. In order to provide you with a puppy that is physically and mentally stable we strive to keep our moms and dads in as natural environment as possible. We have 5 fenced acres with smaller 1 acre grassy fields for them to run, play and follow their hunting instincts. However at night for their safety and comfort they live in our homes and are part of our families. We provide them with toys, and pools and feed only top brand meat based kibble. All our babies are born in the house where we start them on potty and crate training before they leave for their new homes. We follow our vet's recommendations for regular worming and vaccinations. Each of our adult dogs was specially selected for their temperament, conformation and pedigree, and they each are loved for his or her own uniqueness and the joy they bring to our lives.
